It’s lovely cooking amazingly beautiful dinners, but when your kitchen is a stink fest the next day, the attraction can wear off. Follow our step by step guide to removing kitchen odours and cook freely from now on!

What you need:

  • White Vinegar
  • Large Saucepan
  • Disinfectant Spray
  • Bicarbonate Of Soda

Quick Fix

The Problem: Cooking Odours The Morning After
The Solution: Boil three parts vinegar to one part water for ten minutes. Be sure to open the windows as the fumes from boiling vinegar are intense. The vinegar will neutralise any odours still lingering in the ari

The Problem: Stinky Dishwasher
The Solution: The problem here is most likely caused by food particles stuck at the bottom of the dishwasher. Firstly, clean out the filter at the bottom of the machine. Then sprinkle the bottom of the machine with bicarbonate of soda and half a bottle of good old bog standard white vinegar, run a hot wash and meet your spanking new dishwasher!

The Problem: The Sink Is A-Stenching
The Solution: Pour a kettle of boiling water down the plug hole t remove any debris. Follow with a packet of bicarbonate of soda, leave for five minutes, and pour a second kettle of boiling water down the sink to rinse.
